Fees

Grade 8 - Grade 12

Homeschooling is an educational approach where parents or guardians take on the role of educators, providing instruction at home rather than sending their child to a traditional school. In homeschooling, the curriculum is tailored to the child’s learning style and needs

flexible payment options

While an upfront payment is preferred, you can also choose a monthly or termly payment plan with a deposit required at the time of registration.

SACAI

The fees associated with SACAI registration and assessments are the responsibility of the learner’s parents or their guardians. These fees may cover registration, examination costs, and administrative charges.

fee responsibility

Both parents are jointly responsible for paying the fees associated with their child’s education. All clients will be registered with TPN, our chosen credit bureau, to ensure proper credit management and accountability.

FEES FAQ's

Both parents of the learner are jointly and severally responsible for the full and punctual payment of all Moore House Academy (MHA) fees, including any SACAI-related fees.

You can choose to pay fees either monthly, termly or annually based on the plan selected during registration. Payments must follow the invoiced schedule provided.

  • A 2% interest charge will be applied to all overdue payments starting on the 5th of each month.
  • Automated reminders will be sent on the 5th, 10th, and 15th of the month for unpaid balances.
  • If the account is 30 days in arrears, the learner’s access to the MHA portal will be suspended until the account is settled. This will affect access to courses, assessments, and reports.
  • A letter of demand will be issued by MHA’s appointed credit bureau, and any collection fees will be for your account.
  • Suspended accounts will prevent re-registration or new registrations for future academic years until outstanding amounts are paid in full.

All fees are due in advance and must be paid on or before the 3rd of each month, unless stated otherwise on the invoice.

Yes, a deposit is required when selecting either the monthly or termly payment plan. This deposit is applied toward the total fee and deducted from the full amount before calculating the payment installments.

The deposit for monthly and termly payment plans is non-refundable 21 working days after the payment is made.

Subject changes and assessment marking incur additional fees, which will be invoiced separately.

Yes, parents are responsible for purchasing all required textbooks and study materials for the learner(s).

Some subjects may require additional resources or equipment, such as software, hardware, drafting sets, or experiment kits, which must be purchased at the parent’s expense.

Yes, banking fees will apply to all cash deposits made to MHA’s accounts.

For monthly and termly invoices, the amounts will be rounded to the nearest rand.

The invoice or statement issued by MHA serves as sufficient proof of the amount due.

You will not be able to re-register or register new learners for subsequent years if you have outstanding fees from previous academic years, nor will you have access to the LMS to obtain your child’s report.
