HomeSchooling

Grade 8 - Grade 12

Homeschooling is an educational approach where parents or guardians take on the role of educators, providing instruction at home rather than sending their child to a traditional school. In homeschooling, the curriculum is tailored to the child’s learning style and needs

We offer a selection of subjects tailored specifically for English medium learners, ensuring a comprehensive and diverse educational experience.

We offer a range of textbook options, with a preference for hardcopies, though digital versions are also available. While you are not required to use our CAPS-aligned textbooks, please note that our annual planners are designed to align with the textbooks listed.

Our tiered fee package offers flexible payment options, allowing you to choose between monthly or termly payments to best fit your needs.

Concessions and Accommodations for Learners

At Moore House Academy, we understand that every learner is unique and may face different challenges that impact their learning and performance in assessments. Concessions or accommodations are special arrangements granted to ensure that learners with learning disabilities, physical impairments, or medical conditions have an equal opportunity to succeed.

Concessions may include additional time during exams, the use of assistive technology, a reader or scribe, or separate examination venues. Learners may apply for a concession if they have documented evidence of a condition that requires such accommodations, ensuring they can perform to the best of their ability without being disadvantaged by their circumstances.

If you believe your child may benefit from concessions, please contact us to discuss the application process and requirements
